What can I do with a major in math or computer science or CMIS?

Adelphi’s Center for Career Development offers support and tools to help you figure out your optimal career path. Use the Career Path resource to see what careers are often connected to a degree in mathematics, computer science, and computer and management information systems, including those who choose focused tracks in game development or information security. Make an appointment with one of our career counselors for personalized assistance or career exploration.

Prepare for a teaching career

Adelphi offers a unique combined baccalaureate/master’s five year program  which allows students to major in mathematics and also fulfill courses in education that will lead to New York State teaching certification.

See the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP) Master of Arts Programs in Childhood Education and Adolescence Education offered in association with the Adelphi University Ruth S. Ammon School of Education.
